Attorney David A. ShapiroMRLC-Founder David A. Shapiro, Esq. received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. David focuses on mortgage workouts, real estate litigation, and negotiating with lenders on behalf of borrowers. David is an alumnus of the University of Texas, Austin and University of California-Hastings, where he was chief student editor of The Back Forty. Before entering private law practice, David clerked for the United States Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Division and for the Honorable Henry E. Needham. David is licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of California. Additionally he is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts, Northern and Central Districts of California, Central District of California’s Bankruptcy Courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. David is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he is an active member of the Real Property and Litigation Sections. David also serves on the Workouts, Foreclosures, and Bankruptcies Committee of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section. David also is a licensed real estate broker. Attorney Renee E. LinaresRenee E. Linares Esq. received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Western State College of Law in Fullerton, California, where she graduated second in her class. Some of the scholastic honors she received there include graduating salutatorian, scholastic merit, trustee’s merit scholarship, and Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in both Civil Externship and Agency and Partnership. Renee focuses on Bankruptcy law where she represents debtors to help avoid foreclosure and reduce unsecured debts. She also handles loan workouts and negotiating with lenders on behalf of borrowers. Renee graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. While at the University of Michigan, Renee was admitted to their exclusive Residential College division where she pursued advanced courses in Spanish culture and literature in addition to internships in advertising, public relations and radio. Renee is licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of California and is admitted in the Central District Bankruptcy Court. Renee is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and University of Michigan LA Alumni Chapter. Renee is also fluent in Spanish and enjoys volunteer Work for local organizations such as the Esperanza House, Mother read Father read/La feria de libros. |
